Butterbean was rescued in the summer of 2011 when a Good Samaritan noticed the tiny kitten floundering on the median strip of a busy highway and scooped him up before he became a roadside casualty. The scared little guy was hungry and dehydrated, and had mildly burned paws caused by the hot pavement. Butterbean would have been a goner if he hadn’t been spotted. He went quickly into foster care, where he blossomed. Butterbean is healthy, affectionate, and loves to play, after which he will curl up with his foster mom, another cat, or even the family dog, for a nap. He especially likes to spoon with his BFF, Blackjack, also up for adoption (see picture). Butterbean is up to date on shots, neutered, and negative for FIV and FeLeuk.
If you are interested in meeting Butterbean in person, please email Lynne K..
