Chloe was a young calico cat, who was only 8 months old when she was abandoned by her owners after they were evicted. Some kind neighbors fed her, but had too many cats to take in another. Soon the neighbors noticed that she seemed to be getting rounder. Yes, Chloe was pregnant! PAW stepped in to provide her with food, care, and a safe place to have her kittens. On June 5 she gave birth to six colorful kittens, who became known as the Spice Kittens. A few days later, a young abandoned kitten was found and without a second thought, Chloe took in her own foster kitten. With a full belly of seven kittens, Chloe proved to be a natural mother and all the kittens are quite active and healthy. Chloe is negative for FIV and feline leukemia and anxious to find a forever home for herself, and to see that her kittens also find wonderful homes.
