To meet Eido,
Eido (short for Eidolon) was probably born in 1996. I acquired him from neighbors who bought him but then were going to turn him into an outdoor cat after learning their mother was allergic to him. He is a very sweet, affectionate boy who was diagnosed with diabetes early last year. After figuring out the proper insulin dosage and trying a few different wet/dry food combinations, his sugar levels/weight/urination got well under control, and have been stable for over a year now. However, our other cats have reacted to his illness badly, and have harassed him nonstop. As a result, he has become anxious and nervous (for example, he obsessively cleans his belly to the point of licking off all of his hair). He would love a home where he could be the only cat and relax during his adult years. He is currently on 3 units of insulin 2 times a day, and eats Core dry food mixed with 1/2 can of seafood Fancy Feast 2 times a day as well. He is up to date on all shots.
