My new foster mother named me Amber because of my golden colored eyes. I currently live with my foster family, 5 other cats and 3 huge dogs. I am the most petite member of our family. I am 2.5 years old. My fur is a very soft, shiny black color. I know that you would like me if we met, but please understand that I am very shy. I have been moved around a lot lately, so it takes me a little time until I feel comfortable and safe.
I am still adjusting to my new home. It's a little scary, so I have decided that the safest place to stay is under the bed. My foster Mom tries to lure me out with a moving red light. I want to chase it, but I am just not sure.
UPDATE: I have now explored most of my new home and finally met the 3 dogs that bark all day and don't let me sleep. I am not at all scared of them, or the other kitties. They are all being very nice to me and sharing their treats. Suzy, one of the dogs here lets me lie on her . She is very soft. I love to be stroked, especially on my head by my foster dad. I am very neat and clean and always use my litter box. I am really no trouble at all!
I love playing with the red light now, and chase it everywhere. My favorite thing is to sit on my foster mother's lap or on the big recliner in the living room and watch TV. I also enjoy playing with my feather toys, especially after I have had a snack of catnip.
If you have room in your heart and home for a small black cat who loves to talk and play, I am your girl!
