ANGELICA

ANGELICA was most likely purchased as a puppy and once she grew into a young adult was left to her own devices. Neighbors reported her running at large on a number of occasions, escaping her home in search of something she must not have been getting.perhaps love and attention? She wound up on the animal control truck and hauled into the shelter where her owner knew she was but chose not to reclaim her. A terrible time to be at the shelter where they were full and every dog was at risk, due to the high number of dogs there. ANGELICA is a beauty who with some training and love will make someone a very nice companion. She will need someone willing to take her to some basic training with extra work on walking nicely on a leash.

Update Aug 3: Angelica is an energetic young lab with a lot of personality! She can be an escape artist, so she needs a secure yard, but she's quickly learning that she has to sit calmly before any door will be opened for her. Angelica can be a strong puller on the leash, but practice makes perfect, and with continued obedience training, we feel she would be a great walking/jogging partner for someone with an active lifestyle. Angelica gets along well with other dogs, is very sweet and is crate trained. Watch Angelica on utube
