Dakota is sweet-natured and affectionate and is just super-cute. But a couch potato she is not! If you are looking for a companion for your hiking or jogging Dakota is your girl.

Dakota has been going to training classes and the trainer says she is a "Super Star"! She is extremely intelligent and learns very quickly. In just three sessions, with practice in between, she has learned "sit", "down", "stay", "come", "place", and more. When on leash walks, she will also stop before crossing the road when told to "wait". She loves practicing what she has learned and might also be a good candidate for agility, flyball or other fun activities.

Update Dakota is now in a foster home and is making great progress and becoming the wonderful little family dog we knew she could be. When she first came to PAW, Dakota was very excitable, but she has been working hard in her training and is becoming calmer and better behaved all the time. Her foster Mom says she is housebroken, plays nicely with her toys, loves to play fetch with her ball, and will even bring it back and drop it at your feet. Dakota loves people, is good with kids and is a little lovebug who will jump onto her foster Mom's lap every chance she gets. Dakota loves to be the center of attention, so would love to be the only pet in the home.

Her perfect adopter would be an active family who will play with and exercise her, continue her training and enjoy her for the cute little gal that she is, just watch her video!
