DARLA

"Girls just wanna have fun" is Darla's motto. This sweet, exuberant girl loves running, playing fetch, and exploring new places with her highly developed hound nose. She is a beautiful girl- she might even win a beauty pageant, but we're sure she'd snag the award for Miss Congeniality. She is friendly with everyone on 2 or 4 feet.

Darla is very affectionate and adores human attention, but she also loves playing and rolling in the grass with other dogs. Whether it's a big dog or a little dog, she approaches almost every one with the same enthusiastic invitation: Will you play with me, PLEASE? She even tries to play with cats!

Darla is up for long walks or runs and when she's finally tired out, she'll lay at your feet, look at you with those beautiful Cleopatra eyes, and nuzzle you to scratch behind her long, silky ears.

Typical of hounds, Darla has a big joyous bark (this is not a condo dog). She is curious, smart, and very trainable. Her new family should consider attending training classes with her, to direct all that vitality into the right channels and turn this happy young hound into a wonderful family pet.
