[DEMI]

DEMI

Demi came to PAW in 2002 as a stray, weakened and emaciated after months of living on the streets. She was suffering an infectious disease acquired from tick bites and a serious autoimmune condition. After blood transfusions and weeks of intensive vet care, Demi re-gained her health and was adopted into a home where she has been a beloved pet. Unfortunately, though, her family is experiencing some major changes that have made it impossible for them to give Demi the care & attention she requires. Now approximately 11 years old, Demi is still lively and in generally good health but has lost most of her vision. She also has some issues with other dogs, though it is possible she might be able to share a home with another non-dominant dog. This sweet girl is now looking for her really "forever home".
