PATTY

[PATTY ] There is just something about Patty that makes you want to cuddle her – is it her incredibly soft fur, her sweet face, her lovely dark eyes, or the heart-shape she has on her forehead? Whatever it is, this big girl just wants to be loved and has a lot of love to give in return.

Patty was another unwanted dog at the shelter – one of many, looking for a new start in life. Luckily, she came to PAW and we’ll make sure she finds the loving forever home she so clearly yearns for.

[PATTY ] Patty is very people-focused and loves attention. She has definitely lived in a home so is very likely housetrained. She greatly enjoys chewing on and playing with toys and she likes some dogs, but tends to play rough, which doesn’t always go down well with the other party, so she is probably not a good candidate for the local dog park. She would greatly benefit from a bit of training, to help with leash walking and general obedience and her yellow lab heritage suggests she will be a quick learner.

UPDATE: Patty is very intelligent and a quick learner. She can now sit on cue and seems easy to train. She also comes when you call her, is house trained, sleeps all night, and doesn't chew anything she shouldn't; however, she still needs some leash training because she loves to chase squirrels. Patty is a very strong and energetic dog who will need lots of exercise. Yet, she is also gentle and loving with people. She takes treats gently from your hand and gives kisses if you let her. Patty is longing for a person to love her and whom she can love back unconditionally.
