If so...please read on about our handsome boy Pickles...

In his foster home, this beautiful guy is good with other dogs, submissive and sweet as well as playful but respectful if they do not want to play. He is also great with cats. Pickles enjoys walks and puppy laps around his yard and most of all he loves to play fetch and will do so until he gets tired and is then quite willing to lie down and snooze. Pickles is housebroken with predictability and scheduled outs. This young man is still a teenager and so still exhibits some typical puppy behaviors like chewing and occasional digging when not supervised, bored, or not given appropriate things to chew on though he's improving in this area.

Since being in foster care, Pickles has been working to build his social skills so is looking for that perfect home where his family or person(s) will take some time to work with him because he can be overwhelmed sometimes but is learning that life has lots to give. Once comfortable in his environment he falls right into the daily routine. Therefore Pickles perfect someone will understand that and take on the leadership role.

We are looking for an experienced adult home for PICKLES where his people will take charge so that he doesn't feel he has to be, and can relax and just be a dog. His owners will need to continue to socialize him and build his confidence in normal settings. It would be nice if the home also included another dog that is confident for him to emulate and get a sense of calm from. All and all, PICKLES is still a work in progress but with a dedicated owner with time to work with him and another dog to keep him grounded, he should be just fine, not to mention a great companion.
