SUZIE

It is amazing to Susie's many PAW pals that she has not been discovered yet. Perhaps it is her quiet, unassuming demeanor at adoption events? Maybe it is her size? We do know that we are all smitten with her. Once you notice that sparkle in her eye- the one that is watching and waiting to discover the key to her new forever life, or just a friend for the afternoon- you will be smitten too. Meanwhile, we will continue to fight over who will take her to our adoption events and spend our Saturday afternoons enjoying her company, wondering about the great dog owners out there who are missing out on a great dog.

Suzie was an owner give-up. The previous owners, who had had her since she was a pup, moved to an apartment and did not take her along. They took her to the shelter instead. Though it was a correct assumption that apartment living would not be good for this lively girl, she didn't deserve to be left behind. Suzie is the sweetest, however, and ready to find her forever home where her new owners will take her into consideration when deciding important family decisions such as where to live.

Susie adores people, loves to go for walks, searching for squirrels along the way. She is great with other dogs that like to play just as much as she does. She is pictured here with her friend Cupcake in a play session. Susie just wants to be in the company of her people. So, though abandoned by her first family, she has not lost her zeal for life. Please come visit her at one of our adoption events, she's waiting to meet you. Susie can jump a standard fence with ease so needs a five foot or higher fence and cannot be placed with cats or other small household pets. Susie is housetrained and has lovely house manners in general.
