TRIPP

[TRIPP ] [TRIPP ] [TRIPP ]

TRIPP is a happy young guy. He loves walking and can't wait for a safe home where he can relax and have his needs met. He doesn't want much but is willing to give so much in the way of love. And I am sure you can tell by his smile that he is quite a character. He was really hoping for a home by the holidays but so far his forever someone hasn't come upon him yet.

TRIPP was a stray who was presumed to have been hit by a car as he came into the shelter with an injured leg and what appeared to be a road burn abrasion. TRIPP sat in the shelter one of many, though with his injury not likely to be adopted by someone from the general public. His waiting time did serve to allow his leg to heal with the cage rest he got and he has no residual issues from that experience. Three times TRIPP was selected for euthanasia to make room for other homeless dogs. TRIPP was apparently not meant to have the shelter be the end of the road for him as the rescue coordinators fought to keep him off the list. He's just the sort of dog that PAW likes to give a second chance to and now he's got his whole life ahead of him.

Once a week or so TRIPP goes home with a volunteer with a big back yard where he runs and runs and runs to his heart's content. Aside from running in a safely fenced yard TRIPP also enjoys playing with a variety of toys and a good game of hide and seek with his people. At adoption events he gets along with all the other dogs, loves to play with them and has a special affinity for the smaller ones who he is very gentle with. TRIPP is eager to please and is very food motivated so will be a quick study when it comes to training which like other shelter dogs he could use a little of.

Please won't you give this special guy a safe home he can call his own? Come meet TRIPP soon and see how easily he can worm his way into your heart. Don't make him wait too long.
