Wally spent a weekend in the emergency room. He needed an operation and his owner was unable to afford the cost of the surgery. Wally got his surgery within an hour of his becoming a PAW dog and is happily better now, his issue in check with a specific diet. To show his gratitude and since his recovery, Wally has helped the vet office with the socialization and warmth needed for a newborn kitten left on a client's doorstep.
Wally is a very sweet and precious little guy. He loves people and other animals, especially those that are gentle with a dog of his size. He probably would do best in a home with other pets or one where people are home a lot as he's very bonded to his people.
UPDATE July 2009 What a difference a month makes! Wally is coming out of his shell and what a cutie! He thinks he is a big dog and tries to keep up with his big foster brothers and sister playing chase. He likes to chase squirrels, butterflies and any critters who dares invade his home. Night times are special as he buries himself under the blanket and soon starts snoring away. This little guy loves to sleep! Pictures doesn't do this little guy justice. He is so much cuter in person.
