Truffles (left) & Lacey (right)

I must have been a sad little sight when my picture was taken and put on the PAW website. I had a lot of lumps on my tummy (my people called them mammary tumors). When I couldn't have any more puppies, I was discarded, then rescued by PAW. I waited in a cage at the hospital and one morning my new family came to get me. I had major surgery 2 times and all 11 lumps were taken away and I was finally spayed. I laid on a pillow between my new mommy and daddy for many nights with a lot of bandages on me. My new family cried with joy when the Doctor told them I was cured (they used the word benign). Now, at 9 years old, I feel like a puppy again. I play and jump around the yard with my brothers and sisters.

Then one day my family brought home a shaggy terrier called "Truffles" (from PAW rescue) who seems to have problems seeing (they call them cataracts) as she's a little clumsy. But I know she's as happy as I am now and I think a doctor can make her eyes better one day. She plays in the yard with us all the time and then we all come inside and cuddle up on the sofa together with Mom and Dad. The only problem I'm having is my brother is always licking my face, so now I just kiss him back.
