The Partnership for Animal Welfare is an officially recognized non-profit organization which is funded through donations and adoption fees. Donations are tax-deductible. If you would like to help, you can do so by donating money, earmarking your charitable donations to PAW, helping with some of our fundraising activities, or donating food, blankets and other supplies.

Of the money donated to PAW, 95% goes for the veterinary care of the rescued cats and dogs. You can help by donating to pay for a spay, a rabies vaccination, or whatever you can afford. We have several dogs and cats receiving extensive treatment for various medical problems, in addition to the usual veterinary exams and medications that all our rescued animals receive. We rely on your donations to help us help them. Please consider sending us a donation today.

	The United Way Campaign and the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) make it easy for you to make charitable contributions through payroll deduction programs. If your organization participates, you can contribute to PAW through the United Way and CFC. Simply complete the pledge card with the amount you would like to donate and designate PAW as the recipient: CFC is 65456, United Way is 8156 (National Capital Area only). PAW's CFC/United Way number may be different for other geographic areas.
	Are you a state employee? PAW is now a part of the Maryland Charity Campaign. You can donate to us through the MCC by designating PAW (agency code 1840).
	You may also want to sponsor a special needs animal under our Virtual Adoptions program. Your donation goes to help a cat or dog who has a chronic illness or disability, so that he or she can live a happy life in a loving foster home.
	How about a Spay/Neuter license plate? Show your concern, donate to PAW, and get new plates all at the same time!
	Or you can Name a Pet. For a $25 donation, you can honor a friend or favorite pet by selecting a name for one of our rescued pets.
	PAW also conducts a number of fund-raising events, including yard sales, working concession booths at local areas, selling T-shirts and candy bars, and other activities.
